The Meadows is a 70 home planned
urban development located in the heart of New Bern, NC. Each home
will meet rigid requirements established by developers Brydge
& Lee, Inc. The concept is to develop a comfortable,
homogenous community with an aesthetically pleasing impact. Front
porches, muted earth-tone color palates, and raised slab foundations
fronted with brick or stucco help create a blend of old and new
neighborhood design. The developers made the streets wider than
similar New Bern subdivisions. The Meadows features
streamlined lighting, curbs, gutters, as well as sidewalks on both
sides of the street.
